Wow! I am just home from Holland – Papendal to be exact. Our MVe Trainer Camp was at the Olympic Training Center there. It was so cool to be in a center where everything was focused on performance. As I walked down the hall to our training rooms, I had to walk past a visual depiction of Bob Beamons’ World Record Long Jump. How can I describe what it was like to stand at one end- where he took off, and look all the way down to where he landed? It was mind blowing.

To be in the center, sharing space with the Dutch national teams, to share their dining room, see them come in early in the a.m. and again at night was awesome and it rubbed off on our group. The Europeans who had gathered together to learn to deliver the MVe programs, to become the face of the MVe in their countries came together with egos checked at the door, and quickly bonded into a tight knit team.

It was so much fun to work with these professionals, to see them work so hard- sometimes at lunch and after the long days, making sure they were at the ‘elite’ level of training they would need to be.  It was great to see Lee step up and take a larger leadership role, and gratifying to see how the trainers from Greece, the UK, Slovenia, and Switzerland, while all from different cultures and backgrounds melded together around a common purpose – to bring the exciting MVe Pilates Fitness Fusion program back to their countries fitness scene.

I am so thankful to have the time together in such an inspiring locale and will forever carry fond and funny memories of our time together. Merry Christmas to all!
