Isn’t it interesting how just about everyone jumps on the fitness bandwagon this time of year? How do we educate our clients and potential clients about using Pilates as a tool for sticking with and achieving their goals? Here is a 5 step plan to help them make the switch to Pilates…

 

1st – Tease them and make them think!  Give your pitch a little ‘twist’ that is unexpected!...

This is the time of year when minds turn towards making a New Year's Resolution. Well, as most of us know, making the resolution is the easy part- fulfilling the resolution is the hard part. Perhaps, after making the same resolution year after year, without a successful outcome, you, or someone you know, are thinking about giving up the quest.

 

WAIT!  What if it isn't your resolution that is faulty but the methods you are attempting? How many of you know someone who hates to work out hard in a gym, yet every year they vow to get fit and join a gym? Maybe what is needed is a fresh approach; an approach that's good for body, mind, and spirit.  

 

2nd –Educate them!  Why should they try Pilates?...

People often ask why so many actors and athletes use Pilates to get in and stay in shape. The answer is simple – because it works!

 

Did you know that research shows that intensity and adherence are inversely proportional? That means that the more intense the approach to exercise, the more likely someone is to quit.
